School and Community Partnerships
Each year, STREB collaborates with schools and community groups both at their homes and at SLAM to design programs that encourage participants to explore, exchange, create and connect.
2019/2020 partnerships include PS 147, PS 29, Hanson Place, In-Tech Academy, Poly Prep, Bronx Academy of Arts and Letters, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York, WIN, and Jewish Family and Children’s Service.

Elementary, middle and high school classes, university and community groups come to SLAM for an immersive experience that introduces participants to all things SLAM — open rehearsals, discussion with company members, behind-the-scenes tech tours and classes in PopAction technique and circus arts and popcorn!
