Lauren Hutton is an American model, actress and world traveler with a career spanning over six decades. Lauren started modeling in her early adulthood and signed a contract with Ford Modeling Agency. She gained notoriety in 1973 following her record breaking Revlon contract, alongside a record number of 27 American Vogue covers, 14 European and Latin American Vogue across her career. Prior to becoming an established supermodel, Lauren made her acting debut in “Paper Lion” alongside Burt Lancaster. Lauren continued to pursue a career in acting alongside modeling. Her second leading role was in “Little Fauss and Big Halsy” with Robert Redford, following further roles in “The Gambler”, “American Gigolo” with Richard Gere, and Jim Carrey’s first movie “Once Bitten”. As well she had further female leading roles with Gérard Depardieu, Marcello Mastroianni, Burt Lancaster and Burt Reynolds. Most recently, in 2018, Lauren starred in “I Feel Pretty” opposite Amy Schumer. Lauren has continued break boundaries and records in her career, with a return to modeling which she has continued into her seventies. She is shaping the path for all models within the industry, fighting ageism and prejudice to pave the way for longer and more sustainable modeling careers. Lauren is a lifelong diver and was inducted into the Women Divers Hall of Fame in 2007 for her work as a conservationist and scuba advocate.
