GO! Emerging Artist Commissioning Program

With support from the Jerome Foundation for the past 7 years, SLAM has been a creative center for five emerging artists annually who use SLAM to push their own artistic boundaries. Six months of creative development by the artists culminate in a performance full of new ideas and new action.

School and Community Partnerships

Each year, STREB collaborates with schools and community groups both at their homes and at SLAM to design programs that encourage participants to explore, exchange, create and connect.

Partners past and present have included PS 147, PS 84, PS 29, St. Nick’s Alliance, Casa Montessori, Hanson Place, Sarah Burke House.
